Introduction

ConnectIT Technologies ("we," "our," or "us") develops ScoreWize, a sports league management and game scoring application for Android. This Privacy Policy explains our data practices for ScoreWize.

Information We Collect

Short Answer: Nothing Personal

ScoreWize does not collect any personal information. The app operates entirely on your device and does not transmit any data to ConnectIT Technologies or third parties.

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is created and stored locally on your device only using an on-device Room database. We never have access to any of it:

League & Team Data:

• League names and settings you create
• Team names and roster information
• Tournament and competition structures

Game & Score Data:

• Game schedules and matchups you create
• Live and final scores
• Play-by-play records and statistics
• Weekly game breakdowns

App Preferences:

• App settings and preferences stored in DataStore on your device

How it's stored:

• Stored in a local Room (SQLite) database on your device
• Protected by your device's passcode, fingerprint, or face unlock
• Isolated from other apps by the Android operating system's sandboxing
• Removed entirely when you uninstall the app

What We Do NOT Collect

• Personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Crash reports transmitted to our servers
• Contacts, photos, or calendar data
• Financial or health information
• Any data whatsoever that leaves your device

Internet Permission

ScoreWize declares the Android INTERNET permission in its manifest. However:

• The app does not currently make any network requests during normal use
• No data is sent to ConnectIT Technologies or any third party
• The permission is reserved for potential future features
• If any network features are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before release

No Third-Party Services

ScoreWize does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services:

• No analytics frameworks (Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, etc.)
• No advertising SDKs
• No crash reporting tools that transmit data externally
• No social media integrations
• No tracking pixels or cookies
• No cloud storage services

Android Frameworks Used

ScoreWize uses standard Android and Jetpack libraries that run locally on your device:

• Jetpack Compose: User interface framework (local only)
• Room: Local SQLite database for storing your league data (local only)
• DataStore: Local preferences storage (local only)
• Navigation Compose: In-app navigation (local only)
• Hilt: Dependency injection framework (local only)

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We Do NOT Share Any Data Because We Do Not Have Any

Since ScoreWize does not collect any data from your device, there is no data to share with anyone, including:

• Advertisers or marketing companies
• Data brokers
• Analytics companies
• Social media platforms
• Government agencies
• Any third party for any purpose

We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information because we simply do not have it.

Data Retention

No Server-Side Data

We do not store any data on servers. There is nothing to retain or delete on our end.

Local Device Data

• All league, game, and score data persists on your device in the local Room database
• Data remains until you delete it within the app or uninstall the app
• Uninstalling ScoreWize removes all app data from your device
• No residual data remains after uninstallation

Your Privacy Rights

Universal Rights

Since ScoreWize does not collect any personal data, privacy rights related to data access, correction, deletion, and portability are not applicable to ConnectIT Technologies. However, we support your right to:

• Transparency: Know exactly what data the app processes (none leaves your device)
• Control: All data stays on your device under your full control
• Deletion: Delete individual leagues or games within the app, or uninstall to remove all data
• Privacy: Use the app with complete confidence that no data is collected

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

ScoreWize does not collect personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not sell personal information. No action is required on your part.

European Economic Area Residents (GDPR)

ScoreWize does not process personal data as defined by the General Data Protection Regulation. Since no personal data is collected or processed, GDPR data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, etc.) are not applicable. The app can be used freely without data protection concerns.

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

ScoreWize is suitable for users of all ages.

Safe for Children

• ScoreWize does not collect any information from any user, including children
• No account creation is required
• No personal data is requested or stored on our servers
• The app contains no advertising
• The app contains no in-app purchases

Permissions

ScoreWize requests only the following Android permission:

• INTERNET: Declared for potential future features; no network requests are made during current use

ScoreWize does NOT request:

• Location access
• Camera or microphone access
• Contacts access
• Storage or photos access
• Calendar access
